We are having a fairly settled period of weather at present. Just the odd shower and some sunshine. It is mostly grey to be honest.

I planted a lot of gladioli into 2 big pots this morning, should give a good show later in the year. I gave the from garden a makeover yesterday with all the Aqueligia and early flowering Geraniums being given the chop. There are lots of other things starting to show that will flower later in the year. Cornflowers are only just about 75mm high.

The solitary Delphinium is flowering white amongst the Lupins. The Sweet William and Flag Iris are doing well and the Echium Candicans, Pride of Madeira just starting to flower. The Foxgloves are threatening to take over the place.
